Tara & Kirk's Wedding

The daughter of a good friend of mine got married in town this weekend. The ceremony was held in a meadow in Banff, and the reception at the Canmore Nordic Centre.

The ceremony was great, though I think everyone would have liked it to have been a bit warmer than 8°, and preferred that it had not rained. The reception was a blast, with WAY too much food, lots of dancing until the wee hours of the morning, lots of catching up with old friends, one of the best Best Man speeches I have heard in a long time, and making the acquaintance of lots of new friends, too (yes, I still need an apartment in Montreal for the grand prix).


Both KC and I want to thank Tara and Kirk for inviting us, and most importantly, for holding it within near staggering distance of our house(s).
