Finding the local market

Much as I like supermercati, there's just something about buying fresh fruits & vegetables in an open air market. We've been holding off buying too many F&V waiting to get to our local ones, and this morning, headed out to find them.

I did some searching on Google Maps and thought I found one very close to our apartment, but it turned out to neither be close nor to actually be there in the first place. As the crow flies, it's only 3 blocks away, but there's a hill to climb to get there, so we wandered around climbing the hill. At least the hill offers OK views.
Our apartment buildings's roof is on the right centre
On the bright side, we got to see entertaining parking on the way there.
That grey car wiggled in
So we went off to the second market, which was recommended by our landlord. It actually was there, and was really quite good, too.

We successfully bought all sorts of stuff for better prices than at the supermercati, including a basil plant who has now joined all the other plants on our balcony.
We will call him Dave.
