Kitchen Update, Week 9

Did we mention virtually nothing is getting done? Okay, so they're doing bits while we await (and await, and await) the countertops. But bits ain't much.

The tambor got "placed" so we could see how it would look installed, but since it sits on the countertop, it's not installed. The green tape outlines where a hole will be cut to accomodate the microwave -- which is too deep for the tambor, meaning that when the microwave is in place, the roll door won't open all the way, so if we want to get at the stuff at the top, we have to pull the microwave out 2 inches. Somehow not what we were expecting to need to do.



Both cabinets beside the sink are now installed.



And the cupboard where the freezer will go now has a vent.



In short, not much got done this week (the week after the job was supposed to be finished).
