The Kitchen: Before

Though our kitchen renovation actually started May 7, the blog is new, so there haven't been any posts as yet on what we've been doing. This is the "before" section, and I'll post more on the "after". These two panorama shots stiched together in Olympus Camedia (an awful peice of software) have the views of the two work spaces on either side of the kitchen. The room was essentially in the shape of two intersecting "L"s with the traffic path diagonally through the middle of the kitchen splitting the two work spaces. Ugly, and difficult to cpture in photos. The sink (which everyone seemed to like except us) was on the opposite side of the traffic flow to the stove. In fact, about the only things I actually liked about my kitchen were the stove and the window.
